Okay...in the yearbook seniors get to have a quote..and they're due tomorrow. I'm planning on doing something out of a 311 song and here's what I got so far
"If you don't have someone to do it with it's not worth doing"
"Come with your best and do your worst before you can't remember what you came for"
"Nothing in life is above being honest"
"Imagine if there was such a thing as dependence day. There's no self congratulation, just a day of appreciation, quitely, humbly for things that have not gone wrong"
Ya'll like any of those?

i think im just going to put:
cheers to all my friends,
Rock and Roll

Wow, speaking of which...I used BR for my senior quote.
"I want to conquer the world", to be exact.

Oh, I didn't use that as my quote, i was just suggesting that one ;p
My high school did it a little different.
Instead of quotes in yearbooks, they printed a seperate book, called "Senior Farewells(lol, sp?)", and each senior got a half a page to write whatever they wanted.

A lot of people wrote, "You are very funny! I hope something fixes you some day!" in my yearbook(s). I still don't get it.
The rest wrote shit like, "IT WAS NICE KNOWING YOU STOP I WISH YOU A LOT OF LUCK AND GOOD MONEY STOP HAVE FAITH AND YOU WILL SUCCEED STOP IT IS TOO BAD OUR TIME TOGETHER HAS ENDED STOP"

if they had done that in my high school it would of been close to 600 pages.

Do any of those quotes mean anything to you? I mean, do you espouse what any of them say? What's the point of having something attached to YOU that means nothing to YOU?
Or..are you just picking something that you think sounds cool?
Just wondering <shrug>

1. never use a quote, no one gives a f**k about quotes, other than to say "i didn't know that person said that"
2. don't say hi to any friends
3. don't be overly cheerful or overly anything. be dry and witty
4. don't say something that has meaning now. say something that might have meaning in 20 years

"To each according to their need, from each according to their ability" was mine. Points if you can name what it is.
As a side note, I went to a roman catholic high school, very preppy. Added to it's humor I think.

Haha that's pretty sweet. The Workers Solidarity Movement (an anarchist organization) operates off of this basis ^^~
Sounds like something my sister would do.
