Security problems with Windows?

What are some of the ongoing security problems associated with Windows (especially Windows XP). Tell me a little about the problems and then tell me your opinion about the problems. For example--should Microsoft be held accountable for any problems/damage on their customer's computers? Should Microsoft be forced to test their products more stringently before releasing? Should Microsoft make the next version of Windows free to all users who bought the flawed product?

But seriously, I don't have XP so don't really know the problems associated w/ it, and wanted to get some feedback

Just go find a support forum and copy + paste one of the thousands of pages of flaws in MS OS software.

the only windows xp problem I have ever had was the blaster worm deal with the remote protocol thing. Since then I have updated the patches about once a month and have had no problems whatsoever.
