I want to play Second Life, but I need to know how it is for the non-voice player. I hate all those voice-chat crap, so I never use it. Is the game any good without it? In many review I saw that it is one of the best things about the game, so I want to forget about it. Does any player play the game without voice-chat feature? I need the answer as soon as possible, so I can decide what to do.

Yeah, man, you can play the game as non-voice player. It is all the same. Second Life is fantastic whether you play with or without voice-chat feature. Of course, it is much better with it, because you can talk to other players. However, if you hate that, you can play the game your way. Many players do not have ability to chat, so they are typing in the game, instead of talking. It is the same. You can freely play it the way you prefer. Second Life will give you many happy hours.
