OK, now, let me see if I get this straight: Second Life actually has a "parental guidance" version, called Teen Second Life? And to log on there, you must … have a credit card? While for regular SL, you don't need a credit card? WTF? How come the requirements for logging onto a moderated version are higher than those of a standard one?!

Actually, I'm pretty sure that the PG credit card requirement thing is a left over from the way things used to work earlier – the full, "adult" account was charged, and the "teen" one was completely free. However, since then the full (well, basic) account was "liberated", and now you don't even need an e-mail address to register. The teen one was sort of forgotten, I guess.
