Does this game fall under the MMORPG (massive multiplayer online role playing) descriptor at all? Can it even be called a "game" as such? I mean, are there any kind of levels, character building or advancement, set goals to accomplish, set missions, or anything else that defines the role playing genre as we know it?

If you as much as glance at the google search, you'll notice that there are hundreds of discussions and articles dealing with this exact same topic. Starting another one is, well, pointless. I mean really, who cares about definitions and categorizations anyway? For what it's worth, I find the term "simulated environment" to be the most fitting one.
