Hi, I'm completely new to SL, and I'm loving it so far. However, I'm having trouble designing my own gestures. Specifically, they usually don't work after I make and preview them. Also, while the animations are mostly OK, the sounds I attach are sometimes female even though my character is female. Can anyone help?
TIA

First of all, you need to activate each newly created animation. In the Inventory, go to the Gestures folder. Right-click the gesture, choose Activate. Repeat as required.

You deal with the gender sound situation similarly – in the Active Gesture menu, choose the Edit option. When you see something like "(soundname)_male", click the arrow and chose a new sound, named "(soundname)_female".
