He may just have thought that you weren't going to cash the check then and there.
If the check bounces he is in some serious legal trouble... I don't think he had any intention of scamming you.

That's awesome! Back in the day when I sold my EverQuest accounts, I used paypal and never had a problem. Once this guy did a charge back. But I had his home phone number.
I know it's bad, but I called and pretended to be his mistress. His wife wasn't happy. Then he said he'd pay me if I called back and said I was joking. Guess who got her money

I hate scammers. They have to ruin everything else for people get. They really don't have anything else to do but take advantage of other people.

i want to share my story.
Well, The trader found people in the game that had good stats. Then he/she would list it on here as if him/her owns the account but is just telling the user. He/she says they are scared so for you to go first. Anyways, i went first and never got a response. the good thing is thou that my account that I gave was locked. Look after these people in games. Make sure you meet up with them in the game.
