There aren't many warez options for idiots left, without loads of spyware atleast.

"safe" - not likely
The chance you'll get sued, unlikely. But there is always that chance you'll get caught. Kinda like being attacked by a shark or getting struck by lightning =x
Look at it this way: If you get caught you'll have to pay about $3000 but maybe, just maybe you'll get an advertising deal with Pepsi =o

wtf are you talking about. I still don't understand how to do XDCC for the most part. I mean, I know (when they post an advert on a chan) that I msg 'em with send #4 or some shit, but still. how do I browse what they have, or know if there is even an xdcc bot in a room that I'm in?
That's what I wanna know!
As far as the download thing. you CAN download music. That isn't what they get you for. They nail you for distribution, so once you download your shit, quickly remove it from your "my shared" folder and bam... ez

IRC is well and good for finding newer stuff, or complete albums. But, sometimes I'm in the mood to listen to an old song from the 80's or something even less popular, and it's hard to find that kind of stuff. For example, if you wanted to find Madonna - Like a Prayer, where would you look? Surely not on IRC, how many xdcc bots would actually share that song?

There are mp3 addicts, people who simply mass mp3s just for the sake of having a shit load of mp3s. People with 300 gigs of mp3s they've never listened to, and they've got em all up for download in fserve channels.

Queues suck. I haven't used Fserve bots in a few years, so I don't know what it's like these days. I remember using Fserves to collect all of my video game mp3's and various PSX roms.
So, what IRC server/channel do you suggest? I've only used EFnet in the past, and it pretty much blew balls.

kazaa lite, all the features of kazaa but no spyware and a RIAA blocker. Also use shareaza, bittorrents and IRC.
Tiluvas, as long as u have IRC installed go to pages like http://ircspy.com/ or http://xdcclist.dyns.cx/ type in what youre looking for and all you have to do is click on the link of the bot you want do download from, it will open the server/chan on the IRC and all you have to do is paste into the channel and it will send the XDCC command o the bot and the send will begin

quit looking for those old 80s songs and spend the time seeking help. Good lord, who the hell wants to hear anything from the 80s.
