American politicians pull the God Squad card all the f*****g time and while Bush is clearly a genuine religious loon, I would bet a great deal of cold hard cash that a good many of them aren't.
He's playing to the crowd with it, deal. The idea he is remotely religious is just a play by the Bush administration to link him to Al Qaeda when ni fact bin Laden and Hussein are diamterically opposed in their political philosophy.

As I actually live in america, I can tell you that our government isnt linking bin laden with saddam through any fictional religious zeal. At least not through the mass propaganda machine you believe exists.
The only thing that would link the two was speculation that iraq *could have* supplied some weapons to al-qaida.
Another thing: Just because the media interprets something completely wrong and advertises it as fact, doesnt mean thats the actual stance our government is assuming. Half of the media represents a staggering number of america's morons.
