I have a ignorant friend who thinks this whole war is a f*****g mistake cus hussein isnt a threat.. does anyone have links showing that he was a threat. I need to make hi shut up.. its starting to p**s me off hah. If he keeps being a ignorant b*****d im gonna clock him one then walk away.

yeah its real, a marine came into my store who just got back from iraq.. they are using gas on our troops. wish he came back in cus i forgot what kind of gas it was. he classified it as a wmd
|

So you don't know why Saddam was a threat, but you're arguing with your friend about it and he's the ignorant one?

It might be Sarin that is leftover from the first Gulf War. There was a medical release a bit back that they now know Gulf War Syndrome is attributed to Sarin gas exposure which damages the nervous system. I have not read any recent reports about gas attacks in Iraq, but that Marine would be the first to know. Chemical sensors went off during the first Gulf War, and at the time, they thought the alerts were glitches. Now they know differently.

Of course they are. Because Bush doesn't like to make the Iraqi insurgents look bad, and he'd have hated if the story that they were using anything resembling WMD got out before the election.

i personally think he is a threat. i just wanted some links, he wont listen to me because im a friend of his. so if i have some links showing what hes done ect ect. Also Wheres that report where he paid people to bomb jews And tourists in israel including american tourists.. thats a threat.. just need a link to that. or something heh.

If the troops were getting gassed, and if a Marine just walked into your store where you work and told you, and if you think the government is trying to keep this a secret, how come you're the only one that knows?

Hmm. There was a recent article about Gulf War Syndrome but I can't remember where I saw it. I have only been reading the AP, WSJ, and some stuff on National Review (was curious about new cabinet appointments) recently. I am bit drained on politics but still try to keep up to date on things. It is not widely circulated or has been front page. Why? I don't know.
If there was a recent attack, the military might not have the sources taken out yet, do not want to cause a mass panic (the stuff can fit in a suitcase), is an isolated incident, etc. I am not sure. Remember the silly stuff with the 380 tons of explosives turning out to be 3 tons that disappeared before the troops arrived? Maybe they just want to find out everything first before announcing or the media is ignoring it. Maybe the Marine is mentioning something he heard incorrectly and is from the First Gulf War. No matter the case, I doubt he is lying. I am not sure so can only speculate.

Meri, Saddam is kickin it with 2Pac and Elvis trying to decide where to launch his weapons of ass destruction first!
Saddam was a threat, but not to us.
I'm still waiting for us to go after the guy who was behing 9/11. Maybe 10 years later we will.
