Please.
Am I the only one who feels this way? Honestly, every other *minute* some phenomenolly original game developer is going up to his buddies and saying "Get this! I have a new idea for a game! It's about STAR WARS!"
Where is the dignity? Where is the pride? I mean, I'm not going to lie here, the only p***y I see is when I wake up in the morning and feed the cats, but at least I'm not staying up all night camping wookies and trying to become a f*****g jedi!
Playing this game sets you a whopping one level above the ever-so-popular "Fat Star Wars Kid"

god thats like the mostest stupidestest thing yuo have ever f*****g said...
whats the difference between playing eq and star wars?
granted they are different games, but i dont see why camping a wookie would make somone a lesser man than the guy camping frogloks...
because this game can spark a great interest in somone befor they even see a screen shot.... only a trew lewser would play it...

That's the difference, c**k jockey.

I guess you have not been to Fan Faire... Star Wars Conventions are not that bad, Star TREK is the worst, God help us all if they ever make a Star Trek MMO

I would probably play a Trek MMO provided SOE had nothing to do with it

Star Trek conventions were always fun. Best part of course was going to listen to the actors tell about their memories from the show or what not. I even managed to get William Shatner's autograph at one of em! =)
Star Wars on the other hand just didn't do it for me.
And for the record, I have never dressed up for any convention.

And a Star Trek RPG would be interesting. Rather than a boring kill fest, there might actually be some interesting missions (if the designers were true to the show)
Just like the card game from Decipher way back when, the Star Trek game (usually) couldn't be won by just fighting.
If that was released, and they actually captured the true nature of the show, I'd be there in a heartbeat.

Being a star wars geek is different from being a self proclaimed Anime expert how?

Being a star wars geek is different from being a self proclaimed Anime expert how? | 90% of anime is just crap and unlike most people, I know this. I'm not some brainwashed american who is thoroughly obsessed with anything and everything to come out of Japan. Most people who watch anime are just retarded. Not quite as retarded as people who are obsessed with star wars but close enough.
I don't fit into this stereotype though and I'd appreciate it if you don't include me in it.
If someone made an anime based MMORPG, believe me there's no way in hell I'd buy it.
