I want to block my sister from downloading music and shit from Kazaa and limewire, because I can't even load up a webpage, Is there a way to block out or limit the internet speed she uses?

There are programs you can get that will limit her bandwith. Has to be put on her computer though so if she has any clue it wont' work
|

Nah, give her some bandwidth. A little indicates things are just "slow," and people will tolerate that. Not working at all means she'll have 1 of her stud boyfriends over and, after fixing her computer, he'll kick your ass. You don't want that, Xis.
Give her 1kB/sec throughput and let her call the ISP to complain.

Last time I checked, I was a foot taller then these "Studs" and I've kicked a few of they're asses for smarting off to me when they were in my house

I had this problem with my older brother a while back.
he would download lists of porn that would be a megabyte in pure text.
the router couldn't handle it, and neither could our isp so I disconnected him until he got back.
he caught on after he noticed that of the 7billion files he had begun downloading only 2 or 3 had even started gathering information.
I told him to go to hell, and everything worked out fine.

Your router doesn't differentiate between 1 meg of a single text file, 100 files at 10kB each, or a single .wav file of Jim Carey farting. All it sees is network traffic, packet by packet. Your ISP would be the same deal, unless you mean your friend was receiving 1 meg emails, in which case his ISP sucks for having such a small quota.
