So, between my middle and ring fingers on both hands, for about 2 years now I've had a recurrent skin, uh, condition that causes an area maybe 1 square inch in size to become red and sore, and the skin to peel and crack, usually starts by becoming bubbly and itchy around the edges (if I pop the bubbles some sort of skin oil comes out) then those dry out and most of the skin peels away from the affected area, after about 2 weeks it goes away, except for the red patch (I assume scar tissue, it looks a lot like a mark on my wrist from a soldering iron)
If I pour hydrogen peroxide on it, it bubbles and fizzes and burns like hell. Same thing with bleach only it smells worse and burns worse too.
I tried putting like neosporin or something on it but it wears off in like 30 min from my job and doesn't seem to help much.

Actually.. if it weren't on your hand I would think you were describing athlete's foot fungus. Fungal infections or parasites link ringworm aren't *normally* treatable by conventional means.. has a doctor seen it?

Spelling is "eczema."
Regardless, go see a doctor.

Sounds like athlete's foot. It can infect webbing between fingers or toes.

Impatigo is some nasty shit. I had 1-3 inch diameter sores on my arms and one on my face. Shit was just eating my skin. It wasn't painfull but was very annoying. I still have scars from it and it was 8 months ago that i had it. Easy to get rid of though. Just some Antibiotics and it is all gone in about a week.

that's funny when everyone here tells you to see a doctor =p...
might be fun to keep pouring hydrogen peroxide on it till it stops fizzling, and doing that for a few days...

Sounds a lot like Eczema. A Dermatologist should be able to pin something down although it's sometimes hard to get an appointment when it's actually happening. And bleach? ACK don't do that. Maybe try cortisone cream at night and Benadryl makes a itch relief spray that burns like crazy but stops the itching.
If it does turn out to be that you might want to look at the allergy part of it. Soaps, chemicals, lotions, laundry detergent, and foods can all cause allergic reactions that produce Atopic Dermatitis (the more chronic form of Eczema).
Common food allergens are: milk, eggs, peanuts, wheat, and soy.
I have a food intolerance to corn so if I eat anything with corn in it (corn sryup, corn starch, etc...) I get little clear filled blisters on my fingers that itch like crazy. My fingers and palms use to turn red and the skin peel (like after a sunburn) before I figured out what it was and stopped eating corn.

The bleach wasn't on purpose =p
And hey, I get those blisters too, only they don't itch.

I had something like that between my thumb and pointer finger, but it was poison oak, and I cut it wide open and swam in a hotel pool for a few hours. That killed it right up.

ok couple questions for ya ..
have ya seen a doctor yet?
where do you work? what do you do?? are there chemicals involved (like the bleach ya mentioned)???
my mother had something similar happen with her hands, then they got worse and started getting dry cracking and seeping and bleeding between the fingers then on the knuckles ect anywhere the skin would go tight when moved a certain way would crack and bleed.
she works at ciba vision, they bottle/pack ship things such as contact lense sollutions, nic patches, neocitron, all sorts of crap like that. well the paroxide in some of these sollutions and stuff were creating a reaction on her hands as she touched and delt with this stuff daily *it was always a tiny amount here and there not like soaking her hands in it* and this was what was causing the problems.
the doc gave her special cream and gloves to wear to bed to keep it on and absorb and it cleared it up over time but was alot of pinkish scar tissue left behind.
get it checked out if you havent already!

Do you live near the coastline? Is there a naval installation nearby? Do you have a pet that has sores on its nose and paws?

You are actually beginning to mutate, just don't fight it and embrace your new self.

It's not scaly, not near the coastline, only navy base nearby is like 40-50 miles away, no pets with sores.
Yeah, I know about the mutation thing, that only explains the large lump on the back of my skull and the missing wisdom teeth though.
