I am playing Second Life, and I can see that the character collision detection physics is very good, but ridiculous. In addition, the item collision is awesome and there is no better in any game. How did the developers managed to do that? Older games had big problems with the collision between characters and items. I am going to enjoy this game very much. Just if I can fix that broken thingy.

The collision detection physics system was separately written from the first step in game development, at the early stage. In the beta testing of Second Life game, there was no collision detection because it was broken from the start, so many of players were speaking against this game. In the final product, that flaw was modified and fixed. From that moment, players were very satisfied with the game, and gameplay. However, they were very impressed with collision detection. Now, it is running flawlessly and every gamer I know is very happy with this game. If you encounter any problem, it must be some random bug, and you should not worry about it.
