I've started playing about 2 or 3 weeks ago, I' am doing pretty well but I can't get enough resources.
Now. I've sent some espionage probes on planet's not far away, and I noticed that most of players have over 100.000 resources, but I' am always under 10.000. and they have no defenses or any kind of ship's at all. First I wanned to attack and take over what they have but I need to colonize planet...
Is there a way to take over some1's resources without. colonizing his/she's planet???  [/b]

if he has no def or fleets on his planet then feel free to "farm" him farming is when u attack a inactive player who has no def or fleets on their planet with cargos to "farm" their res...
about colonization... you can only colonize planets that have not been occupied yet so if say 1:234:5 is used, you can not colonize that planet... unless the player who owns that "spot" leaves ogame or is 31 days inactive (where their acct will be deleted) or they delete the planet
