I don't even understand the bill. It seems to me the legistlature doesn't have the power to impose restrictions on the court short of passing a constitutional amendment...this is just a normal bill.

no they do have the ability to control federal courts, they are just saying that they cant use anything but the constitution or english common law to interpret the constitution (like they cant go to norway and say hey look here this means this so in the usa this means this too, ie they cant dig for the interpretation that suites them) and if they get out of hand and start ruling on things that they arent allowed to they can be impeached. its really hard to remove a judge from the bench as it is now.

Yeah, the constitution only allows for the supreme court and says the congress determines what other federal courts exist and how they're structured. This bill puts a stop to the nonsense...though I'm guessing judges will continue to disregard the law and hear cases anyway.

this also seems to be saying that people or organizations arent allowed to sue over or send cases to the courts over the acknowledgement of god (ie protecting in god we trust on the money and in the pledge) It still doesnt recognize any one religion just says that the niche groups like the ACLU cant take cases to the court to get things like this removed.
It only allows acknowledgement of a god but not any one particular god it seems which imo is also good. It will limit the number of retards trying to sue over stupid shit and if the majority still decides having god on stuff is bad we can go through the legislature cause.. we are the majority ;p It doesnt impose religion really just says you cant sue/file charges when religion is referenced by govt entities.

but then we can impeach them, and i doubt many people will be respecting the rulings of a judge in a seedy office on a street corner not recognized by any govt body ;p. This is really good imo really puts a stop to the judges BS without limiting their legit powers.

I wonder when people will get over the insult of telling someone they "can't" spell or "suck" at grammar. I wish you idiots would realize that the high high majority of those people that you insult, like 99.9% of them, really don't give a f**k how they put their words/sentences together while talking to someone online that either, 1) doesn't give a shit, 2) will forget in 2.2, 3) loves using the insult that you suck at grammar and spelling.
