i look at it slightly different. after seeing some of the crazy shit people do on the internet, the crazy people that I deal with in every day RL dont seem quite as out of the norm as they used to.

Are you thinking of the video of the Russian soldier getting his throat cut? Boots on face if I remember correctly... I think my explorations of the depths of my own internet depravity started with that video, which I found on Realpoor, of course. At first it's like "OMFG WTF!" and then you're wondering how many times you can watch it with the sound all the way up before you get that cold knot in your stomach.
