Having the state department expidite your passport process so you will have it b4 you leave for vacation to only have it arrive after you were supposed to already left is FUN |
Bad luck Pinky! Glad I didnt read this while I was sweating it out on if mine would arrive or not. I expedited it and it arrived 2 days before I was to fly out. I was all set to gracefully accept the $2k loss (plane/hotel) I would have had to take if it hadnt.

i was supposed to pay an extra 100 for my ticket because of it but the lady was nice and didnt charge me. As for hotels and such this vacation was a plan as you go type thing so i lost no money on arriving a day late only one less day on one of the top 10 beaches in the world.
