This morning when I checked my email, I received a notification saying that I had 2 PMs in my in box here. I log in, and check my in box, and I have 2 similar messages, from 2 different "companies". For the most part, I got a good laugh out of this, and I would hope that most people wouldn't be stupid enough to fall for this type of service that these companies are offering, but unfortunately some people do.
The two companies that have advertised to me are www.we-will-scam-shit-out-of.you & www.we-will-scam-shit-out-of.you. Now, I looked at both of these web sites carefully, and it doesn't take a genius to realize that both of these are created by a child who simply viewed a page source, copied, pasted, and modified the layout a bit. The text is exactly the same, the information is exactly the same, & they both offer the same ways to contact. Most importantly, both companies are willing to rent your character to provide us (the account owners) with an epic flying mount? How do they gain anything from renting accounts? They say they use them to farm, but their web sites don't offer any type of gold sales, which makes it even harder to believe.
And finally, I did get a hold of www.we-will-scam-shit-out-of.you on AIM, and I called them out on this. This person didn't have anything to say to me about this little bit of information I have gathered, confirming that this is definitely a scam of some sort.
Edit: I forgot to mention the 2 usernames that sent me the PMs.
