1GPN and Vivox have announced a new agreement that will see Vivox supplying its real-time voice communication services specifically customized for and integrated into 1GPN's massively multiplayer online PC game Ragnesis Online.
Ragnesis Online players will be able to speak with each other in-game, simply by walking up to other players and beginning a conversation. Players will also be able to create discreet audio conference channels for their team, clan or professional union, and start, leave or rejoin voice conversations during the game without impacting game performance.
The addition of Vivox enabled voice communication to Ragnesis Online marks the second such implementation of the technology within a MMOG in recent months, with the company also signing an agreement with CCP Games to bring the service to the popular EVE Online in May 2006.
