I broke one of my front teeth 2-2.5 years ago (I never drink and decided to do shots of everclear) and got it fixed by a dentist. I woke up with it broken again, and I don't have dental insurance since I work at home now. Is there any type of warranty or guarantee on dental work? I don't see why I should be fully responsible for fixing this, it's not like it's 10 years later. This is only 2 years. If not does anyone know how much getting a tooth fixed costs? $500?, $1000, $3000+?

1 euro of administration cost in Belgium. In return, the government only wants 42% of your income each year.

I didn't even notice, to tell you the honest truth. But it wasn't wasted, now that I think about it. My 5000th was a reply to Dunn. And Dunn is far more than worthy for such a moment.

5001 is for you, Frostkiss!

Arbitrarily speaking, the single dash ("-") bothers me in terms of style. I like the double dash, really, without any spaced. I abuse the hell out of those phrases when I'm typing.

Just the space->dash->space is something I really wind up disliking. Not sure why.

"Tommy - with his tumultuous mind and insatiable libido - shoved a dog up her ass."

or

"Tommy--with his with his tumultuous mind and insatiable libido--shoved a dog up her ass."

The latter. But I'm a grammatical nazi.

my guess is 500.00 - $900.00 maybe more depending on how much of the tooth is left
that is if you are geting a crown, which might not be you only option
and the cost of a crown and the types of differnt ones you can get is crazy.

funny thing, some places, getting a gold tooth is cheaper than getting a normal Porcelain type one lol

gold teeth are cheeper because a porcelain is gold underneath and porcelain over lay. still mostly gold but added cost of adding on the white.

I doubt you'll find your dentist warranties his work. I have a $3000 bridge I had to pay for with no dental. A bridges life expectancy is 5-10 years. =/

Well, while the single hyphen is wrong, the double-hyphen is preferable only because there's no em dash key on the keyboard, and the em dash is the typographic symbol that's really needed in this context. A single hyphen should be used only with hyphenated words such as ninety-five. An em dash is used to represent a pause in thought, akin to a comma or parentheses. Microsoft Word will autocorrect a double-hyphen to an em dash by default, I believe.

Im guessing around $1000 that you can expect to pay Mugaaz. Expensive yeah but your investing it in yourself. Self esteem/confidence is priceless.

Nobody has a written warranty, but I look at every case individually. If I like them, I might fix it for free...if they were an ass, then full price.

If you had another bonded filling, that would run you around 400 bucks and up depending on how big it is.
If it's a crown or a veneer to fix it......you are starting at 1k.

and i read down in one of the posts saying that porcelin is more expensive than gold crowns.....the lab costs are generally higher on gold because of the actually weight of the gold used.
