Dear users,

recently the staff has begun brainstorming some ideas for advertisement. We've had many attempts to advertise in a non-spamming way and many attempts to get the community more involved with helping us. Unfortunately, our ideas failed; no one wanted to participate.

Now, we're asking for your suggestions on what we should do to advertise. Any and every idea will be accepted.

Hi RealPoor Staff.

I thought that we could get some good traffic on Youtube. I can make the video, I have very good design skills with making and working with video recording and editing.

I will make a video, post it on youtube, and maybe we can attract a few thousand or so members to join! Smile

How do you like my idea?

What are your guy's thoughts on a blog? You could even involve yourselves in Internet Marketing. What my current job is, is Search Engine Optimization... Basically I would take the following info:

Title: something to do with Realpoor
Description: The best place to get blah blah blah
Keywords: account trading, account selling, blah blah blah
Category: Gaming

And I would submit that information to many directories. I do them 300 at a time for my clients right now.

You guys probably won't like this idea because it takes a bit of time for the results to kick in. But I could make a page that will track where your visits are coming from, both in URLs directing to REALPOOR and location of the user (USA, UK, EU, etc. etc.)

I got 2 ideas here.

1. Google ads, Yes, it costs $50, 10 cents each click, but maybe we could raise some money.

$50 a month, 50 * 0.10 = 300 clicks = possible 300 extra members.

or, we could pay more, like $1000 for a ton of more members! :0

2. I don't know if we have a myspace yet, but we could get a lot of members through that way.

A good way is the word of mouth.

Satisfied members/buyers/sellers = more positive feedback to their friends etc.

Also a spiffy Youtube video or a blog entry is helpful aswell imo.

I think it will help alot. I'm going to tell some of my real-life friends about realpoor for sure to help Smile

I think realpoors really gonna get some more players.

definately give youtube a try, and if you want to spend money use their advertisement feature to get your video more views.
