On a scale of 1 to 10 how do you rate AoC? I'm thinking of switching and would like some general feedback about the game.

3/10 my brother has it and stoped playing it after lvl 60 I played the first 20 and didnt really appeal to me.

I got to about level 60 before being decidedly bored with it, some good quests but far too easy to hit the top levels!

I rate it a 5/10 only because Funcom failed to deliver on content. They should have held the game back a few more months.

i'll give it a 4.5, i can't believe they fked it up soo bad.
all my friends quit the game after 80 b/c there's nothing to do. i'm at 71 and i'm not paying for my account anymore.

This game just simply failed it took me like 10 days to hit cap, and really had little more than fast leveling to offer 3/10

AoC was hyped to 10. Realistically its worse than many MMO's before it. I'd say its on a LOTRO level, mabye even slightly worse. 4/10.

Yeah for being a launch mmo it is pretty decent. I'd give it an 8/10 for launch we'll see if it can keep that spot once it has more time to develop though.

I'd give it a 4. The graphics and sound are great. The PvP system is pretty poor though. Endgame is buggy and thin at the moment also. Siege battles barely work.
Maybe once they get everything working over the next year it will become a solid game.

I'll give it a 3 - my guild left WoW to play and to a man went back to WoW before our first month was out.
It's buggy and far far too easy - and any game that makes WoW look hard in comparison has gone too far down the spoonfed road.

People don't get banned for exploiting, at 80 its lacking.. the 5 is basically for the graphics.

until you hit 80 more like 8 of 10, but at 80 its total garbage......maybe in a year or 2 it will be a viable mmo, but currently if you play.......dont rush to 80 is all i can say.

Well it lots to do engame for me at least. Doing raids to get Tier 1 and 2. Beween raids u can level alts or do heroics for best blues.
PvP wise its not ready but it will be rolled out next week and the gear rewards looks very good. I rate i 6/10 atm and if pvp delivers it will be a 9/10 imo.

Well, face value, looks nice, and is generally a nice game. It really pulls you into the game straight away.
Has a good story line, just a shame the storyline is spread quite thinly
Having an 80 char, and played pretty much all the content accept Wing 2 of BRC.
It IS lacking in content for mid lvl players. Raid encounters are ok, no where near as intense as WoW though.
Overall, I rate AOC 7.5/10, Theres alot to be done and im sure Funcom will do their best.
Just make sure you PC can run it. Its quite a demanding game.

I really liked the look of the game and the mechanics where good, maybe even great. The instances got just way to much and the PVP was meh. It feels like it could be a great game and I feel very much the same about Warhammer except that their PVP is the strong part with mechanics and GFX being meh. I think a combination of the two could have made for a strong game that would have had a very strong player base.
However AoC has failed and I think that they will not get it right in time to keep the potential for a large player base. That said i would be surprised if they couldn't keep enough to still exist it really depends on what FunCom will demand for revenue from this game. They better be happy with VG/Eve numbers they missed the boat for any better.
