Quick question about guilds.
Does anyone know of any guilds that are Just breaking into PoP or GoD?
Reason I ask is I want to get in on the Bottom floor so to speak.. kinda do it all to hone my raid skills. Im looking to join a raiding guild but would feal out of place if I got into a guild where I got to loot stuff because everyone had better already. Its not right not to have to work for somthing.
So if anyone knows of or is part of a guild that is kinda breaking into the raid scene lemme know here so maby we can see if we might be compatible.

Hrm, try Haunted Dreams (though they're elemental) or Timeless Requim? Both of those should have plenty of members to w***e loot before you.

They are all easier now due to 70... plus google strats.
Unless they take 4 hours to clear to FR... then I'd probably leave....

You would be better off just grinding to 70 getting some aas and applying to a true raid guild.
If you want to see the end game, thats the only way to go.

Ohh damn if I knew it was that easy I woulda been raiding way before now..
Nobody uses tactics anymore? Mobs dont have to be cornerd? Tanks always live the whole battle? Mobs never have to be peeld off of casters?
Sounds like raiding is similar the starcraft game I used to play whats that word again.. "Zerg"

I'm going to break it down for you.
If you're not a raid leader, puller or the tank, then the "skills" you need to "hone" to raid are sitting on your ass for extended periods of time, reading comprehension and doing exactly what you are told.
I know, it's hard.

LOL yeha join a "real" guild one of the uber ons if u wanna have everything handed to you on a silver platter or better said picking up scraps from crap the rest of the "uber" guild members dont want...

The problem with that, is the non "uber" guilds are all in the slow process of falling apart. So grats you on your high standards that are going to leave you guildless with substandard gear.
Even if you join said Uber guild, and w***e the rot loots, almost every one of them uses some type of DKP, so even after you've whored all the rot loots (read scraps for those of you looking down off your high horse) you now are so in dkp debt you have to work twice as hard to be able to ask for any non rot drops. Sorry, but the 5k unbuffed ranger with 137mr is worthless to any higher up raiding guild, and they're not going to want to keep you for six months before gearing you up just so you can feel like you've "earned it". 
Pick the guild you want to apply to, more for how you feel you'll fit in with them, and if they match your playtime/style and content you'd rather be doing. Unless you join a group of complete fucktards the loot will follow. If you join a guild that wants to give you rot loot so you have a chance of living through some encounters I'd suggest you take it.. sooner or later the clerics will get tired of constantly rezing and rebuffing you and you'll find yourself guildless

Wow maby I misread my own post or didnt phrase it correctly. Im not wanting rot loot. I just dont want to be the guy getting rezzes every 5 minuts because I suck so much worse than the current members. That is the reason im wanting to start somwhere lower with people who are breaking into elemental thpe zones. If DKP is the system then that would be a way for me to earn what I get since I said I "want to earn what I get" but This was probably the wrong place to ask guild advice anyways. But thanks for the sugestions and good luck to you all.

My Attack messages rocked, especially because they usually came with "X PERSON STOP DOING THAT" , "Y PERSON WHY ARENT YOU DOING THAT" and the occasional "SQUEE"

I think Veritable Quandary are also doing lower PoP now, only thing is they also do VT and Ssra, so you would miss out on raids if you weren't keyed. Haunted Dreams might be your best bet because even though they have killed RZTW, they still do lower PoP tiers.

You really think i give two s***s if i spell right? Anyway HD is doing well and we are just backflagging everything from the lower planes now. As for joining a uber guild all i said was that i would like to earn my way throught he game whether it is dieing or not, the game might die and it might not but joining a uber guild that has done everythign 100 times really isnt for me or alot of people, for some it is who just wanna SEE the end game not get there themselves. I hope this person chooses what is right for them regardless. As for all the lower guilds dieing.... so are the upper guilds.... so really can u be sure no matter who u join whether they will live or die ?

I used to have a similar opinion on the matter, to be honest, Vandil. I did not want to ride coat tails. Then I really thought it through.
The thing is, unless you PERSONALLY make or break a raid, you are riding the coat tails of EVERYONE else at the raid. Progressing requires teamwork, and this is as simple as doing what you are told to do.
While it is true that until you are geared up properly for a particular guild, you are not helping 'as much' as the top of your class in said guild, as long as you are paying attention, using common sense, and following directions...guess what, your doing your part and earning your keep.
Some roles may require more skill than others at given times such as pulling, crowd control, etc. Other times, your off tanks aquiring aggro fast enough will make or break the raid. The end game requires much more from EACH different class, giving everyone a chance to shine at one time or another, which is something that may not be apparent at lower tiers.

I completely agree Shinja =) I am the raid leader for HD which has been an honor and something i love to do. I dont BLAIM anyone for moving up in the world if they can and seeing the end game asap, more power to ya honestly... i love to work for what i get and i love the feeling of having done something with my friends which i consider everyone in HD to be and even those that have left. Thats all i was trying to say.
