Which classes and races are the best suited for a D&D Online beginner? I want to play the game, but I do not know what class or race to choose. I need an opinion from experienced players, because they know how the classes are balanced and which race is the best for a beginner. In addition, of course, any other player can be part of discussion, and help me.

That is very complicated question. The pick of a class and a race will determinate the whole gaming experience. All of the classes have different skills, strengths, and weaknesses. Moreover, the races are similary different like the classes. You first must do the extensive research of every class to find what the best fit is to your liking. Every player has different opinions about classes, so it is very unthankful to set aside one class. D&D Online is great game, and whichever character you choose, playing it will be pure joy. I do not to pick one specific class. I leave that to you.

I can't agree more with the previous poster, however, if you are simply looking for a race/class setup to learn the basics and mechanics of the game, and you want one that is relatively easy to play at lower levels while you are getting the hang of things, I would have to go with a warforged fighter.

And here are my reasons why:

Warforged: You start off the game with many immunities which will help immensely while you are getting your bearings. You also can get 25% fortification, to help with some of those critical hits.

Fighter: The high HPs coupled with the ability to use almost every weapon/armor in the game makes this an excellent choice for someone just trying to get a feel for the game. You can start straight off with a relatively powerful character who you can solo with if you choose, or be a great asset to a party.

I am not by an means saying that this is the "best" race/class makeup, that is completely up to you and your playing style and what you want from the game. The beauty of DDO is that whatever race/class you choose you will have endless possibilities for ways to customize your character and make them unique.

Hope this helps a little.

Enjoy!!
