R&B singer Houston, whose full name is Houston Summers IV, reportedly gouged out one of his eyes after a failed suicide attempt in a London hotel. MTV.com reports that last Thursday (January 27), the singer attempted to commit suicide by jumping off of the hotel balcony but was stopped by his security team. Houston then locked himself into a bathroom and gouged one of his eyes out. The singer was in Europe for a string of performances.
Details are still sketchy but on Wednesday (February 2), the singer's label, Capitol Records, released the following statement, "Our thoughts and prayers are with Houston during this tragic time."
The Los Angeles-based singer released his debut album, It's Already Written, last August. The set was certified gold for sales of 500,000 copies and featured the hit, "I Like That" featuring Chingy, Nate Dogg, and I-20.
When LAUNCH spoke to the singer last year, he explained that singing was in his blood. He said: "Been singing all my life. Pops is a singer, I'm the Fourth. You know he's Houston Summers the Third. You know he used to sing with Marvin Gaye back in the day. He used to do those background vocals. He was on the radio, so it's basically in my blood. Music is what I thirst for you know as well as God."

Saw one guy walking around with his eyeball hanging onto his cheek by the nerve connections.
Later he told us that he could still see out both eyes. One just had a view down his face to the ground.

well i didn't mean that it wasn't hardcore at all.
i've seen people on crack and i've seen someone on opium...opium is MUCH worse. dude that i saw on opium had to go to hosptial, he died and was brought back. Attacked 6 - 8 cops and was arrested.

I know a guy who smoked opium when ever he can't get weed because he can get it for like 10$ a gram. Opium is what heroine comes from and all the other goodies like Morphine and Oxy Contin. It's more of a relaxing type drug I have been told. I have never done it my self because I stick with ganja.

lol i had this one friend in hs james who was crazy gangsta and he would take that f****n opium shit raw lol that foo woul dlike jump thru glass and shit and just come out smilin and then flip off this crazy mexican dude jose wand dahsked him to just kick in hin the ballsaq for like 5 minutes straigh thten my friend carlos just went straight ghetto on his jose ass and like f****n sliced his neck open and shit then he went to my other friend aarons house and aaron went to carlos and was like hey foo my friend james wants to do some acid then they went to my friend mikes fridge to try and get some acid and carlos picked up the vile and dropped it all over my friend jessies arm and that foo wasnt too gangster and he ended up going to the hospital after slipping int oa coma for like two weeks lol it was funny he couldnt even talk or anything for like a month becuz he was so f****n stoned out he said it was the best trip he ever had but his grandma was sick and had to bail carlos out of jail and shit and she was poor so i felt kinda bad for her in tat respect but it was all good cuz my friend james went out with carlos' girl and they had se xi think that and p****d off jose who then went up to jessie and was lke what up fool and then socked him it was f****n mad crazy yo

Um, Opium is a very ... chillin drug, you do not smoke opium, and run around and do crazy shit, unless you are 16, and propose a fake reaction to it. I have smoked opium, and done all kinds of other shit in the past, heh. So i seriously doubt opium is the one. My guess woudl be cocaine, as when you are on coke, your f*****g emotions go buckwild, anyone who has done coke, and reads this will totally understand that. Could be anything though really, ive seen people do some off the wall shit on just alcohol... so who the hell knows.
I'll have to say thats one f****d up individual.

I don't care what drug(s) I am on. My brain will not let me gouge my eye out, it just won't. It would also prevent me from chopping off any other important parts of my anatomy... I would sacrifice a finger or toe , and one of my nuts to save my life that's about it.
