Just a quickie here: Is there or isn't there actual PvP in this game? By "actual PvP" I mean go out there and kill the other guy, not just run around and steal his flag or something?
Because I'm currently without MMO engagement, and might be looking the way of FF XI, if it has decent PvP that is.

I don't think what FF XI offers as PvP would actually suffice, according to your standards. It offers various modes of PvP which are all heavily regulated, and none of them allows you to just "go out there and kill the guy". You don't lose XP or items for dying, so it's sort of like WoW dueling. There are also CTF modes and the like.
