Why do homosexuals like Judy Garland so much?

I have an old old old , hand made Skouras Theater, Judy Garland poster in my basement, it came with the house. I was showing it to a friend the other day and it reminded me that I wanted to DL some of her music, Oz stuff and Have Yourself a Merry Christmas. So I did and then did a little googling. It seems so many homos have sites set up for her.

Whats the dealio?

Her version is the best Christmas song imo.

Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
Let your heart be light.
Next year all,
our troubles will be out of sight.

Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
Make the Yule-tide gay.
Next year all,
our troubles will be miles away.

Once again as in olden days,
Happy golden days of yore.
Faithful friends who were near to us
Will be dear to us once more.

Someday soon
We all will be together,
If the Fates allow
Until then we'll have to muddle through some how.
So have yourself A merry little Christmas now.

You think having a complete and total understanding of the English language is something to joke about?

here's the answer in a general stereotype, just the way you like things.

gays love musicals.

judy garland was a queen of the musical. she could dance, she could sing, and damnit, that little girl just has ZAZZ!

No, but the joke wasn't about that, now was it? ;p

You're just pushing 'The Kbarr Agenda' (tm) again!

ROFL that pic owns. It's just a bit huge.

But I wouldn't have been that woman.

This one, however, is one of my personal favorites:

I didn't say that coz you worked 6 days a week. I said that because:

1: You're a highschool student. It was your holiday, you shouldn't spend ALL of it working. Relaxation = also important.

2: You worked 2 jobs, from early morning till late at night. With hardly any free time at all.

So bite me for telling you to take better care of your stupid overworked self!

No, it was an euphemistic approach to saying that I am in school. I spend about 40-50 hours a week working on my thesis. And I have to pay to get the chance to do that ;p

But if everything goes according to my plan (that'll be a first) I'll be looking for a job end of may/beginning of june.

Yay.

Hehe, a lot of shit happened.

But I'm in a better place now, back on track, and cleaning up my mess one step of the time =)
I'd say I'm about halfway now to getting the life that I want for myself.
Which isn't half bad considering where I was a year ago.

Not gonna go into the details but I will say that finishing my thesis is going to be a personal victory for me and I will be on top of the world for a while after that happens hehe.
So keep your fingers crossed for me!

*edit* damn stretched topic. Shame on you Kbarr.

Nah not that alone. Avi is a good guy.

I guess you could say I was my own biggest obstacle.

I made a bad decision years ago and a lot of things went wrong from that point on, that have only now turned back around to
where I can be at peace with them and work on my future instead of settling for getting through the day =)
