Question about shrinking mpeg file size

Allright, in some of our spare time my friends and I make alot of stupid movies of us doing flips on trampolines, diving boards, driving etc. A problem we run into is that the file size of these videos is enormous. I am wondering how sites like ebraums and whatever else can get long duration videos into small file sizes. We have a trampoline video thats is a minute 35 seconds long but is 101mb. Please Help much thankso!
