I've come across a few posts by mods saying realpoor officials may be the middleman for some high cost trades. I have some questions as I will potentially be placing a high cost character up for bid.
Do realpoor staff charge a fee for this service? If so, how much?
At what minimum amount should I seek out a middleman to handle the transaction? Say I'm selling a toon for 1k, 2k, etc.
What guarantees me that the realpoor middleman won't, say on a whim, actually turn out to be the scammer?
Who do I speak with to secure a reputable, experienced, and trustworthy middleman?

We do not MM at all. There are too many potential Legal issues revolving around such.

CG pretty much said everything. Slightly off-topic, but little bit of info anyway:
Make sure you do sell the cd's, gamebox, manual etc.. when you sell your rogue so you can easily take legal action for fraud in the event of getting scammed. It also acts a major deterrent for kids trying to pull a fast one on traders.
