We dont even have the game yet. Just curious if Gil is hard to get along the lines of EQ or super easy like SWG.
We plan on playing the game anyway as FF rocks but just curious if we should 'invest' in it EQ is dying now pp prices wise...

In about an hour and a half playing, I had about 250 gil from outer Bastok. I bought Bronze Knuckles with it. Most "uber" looking armor was like 50,000 gil.

stick with EQ, f****r | Actually you'd be surprised. The reason the US Dollar is so strong is that it is often used as a standard in trading commodities such as oil, etc. I don't see why Gil should be any different if there isn't already an online sale market for it.

gil is a b***h to get at least in sandoria or however you spell it But then again I'm level 6 and only orcs/goblins tend to drop 6-12 gil a piece if I solo them. P.S. if anyone is on Bismarck, trading EQ plat for Gil =)

Yeah I was hurtin' for Gil at first but do some of the quests on Allakhazam and you'll start rakin' it in.
Did one of those - only problem is it took a while so only got to level 3.5 on my first night - still got some catchin' up to do
White Mages are pretty cool though

get SIGNET cast on you and DONT f*****g SELL THE CRYSTALS TO AN NPC.
Get them into stacks of 12 and sell them at the aution house. ON bis 12 Dark crystals go for 3500, and 12 lightning crystalls sell for 18,000
a NPC woulda given you 960 for the 12 check price history the bazar is your friend, love it.

F sandoria, the region is controlled by beastmen, no crystals for me Also by getting signet cast on you, you get points as you kill mobs, you can then spend them at the guy who casts it on you similar to purchasing items in LDoN Every 1000 and 2000 points.
