There's no 'perfect' group, but that, surely, isn't even close.

Regardless.
Take this with a grain of salt, because I expertised at FFT, not FFTA. Basically, with my rudimentary knowledge of FFTA, that's about equal to donning Squire/Squire/Archer/Archer/WM/BM in FFT; this is gimp.
Also, you have race to worry about in this one; I can't help you there.

This is true.
I use a Solider, Templar/white monk, black/time mage, white mage, Hunter/archer(for disable moves and charm), and Dragoon/warrior.

what's your expert group in FFT? i'm just now playing it for the first time before i get ffta.
i'm about 26 and ramza is doing all sorts of random stuff cause he cant be a ninja yet.
suggestions for good gorup though plz.

My final group had all melee as knights w/ the two swords ability. Excalibur/Chaosblade for Ramza, with Jump as his subskill, Excalibur/Chaosblade for Cid, leaving him with all knights skills, Meteriablade/Chaosblade for Cloud, then my other two were Master-Summoner/Timemage, Whitemage/Mediator.
Saddly after raping Deep Dungeon the boss was a pushover that time through.

FF tactics while fun was a total b******t game. The game required as much tactics as a dice roll. Why bother with min maxing or seting up strategies, the game was a cake walk anyway.

It still had, among other things, a replay value the likes of which has not been seen in many games to date..

Im not dissing anything about the game other then ease. I thought the game was great, i had just beaten and did that secret dungeon ( which was actually not completly easy) and thought the game owned. Then i realized i could of done everything without trying just as simply. And in a game about tactics it sure didnt have any.
Thats one reason I don't care for many RTS. Where is the strategy in build order. I don't want to be a f*****g architect. I want to command my troops.
