It's broken.
On the bright side, if you wanna trek to Orgrimmar, you can have a kodo pet following around to impress newbs with.

Its a quest. You get this stick to turn acient kodos, dying kodos, etc.. into tamed kodos. You're supposed to bring them back to a goblin one at a time, but the quest is broken so they don't stop following you!

If you ever walk around an ogre mound (e.g. Alterac) there's tons of ogre poo all over the place. Really a nice touch. There are even flies flying around the pile!

I know what the quest is silly...
just the images it brought to mind for me made me giggle, which I desparately needed today.
I can imagine the comments in xroads about the kodo in the middle of town. It was bad enough being "flipped out" on savory deviant delight and having people grilling me about it...they'd be seriously tweaked about a kodo. As a hunter tho I am REALLY tempted to go try the quest just to mess with some about it being my pet

They don't act as a pet, they just follow you...won't help - bastages.
Makes a cool noise when you walk tho, people will hear you coming from miles!
