Any thoughts on what would cause a computer to just shut itself off? The problem is completely random. Air flow in the case isn't an issue. I've had it happen with Me on desktop, or on a website, or just playing EQ. The puter shop doesnt have a f*****g clue... all They are doing is randomely changing things and sending Me home to test it /sigh
Any valid thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

Last time something like that happened to me, it was the power supply going out. Could have the puter on anywhere from 5 mins. to 1 hour and then poof!.
Good luck!

It randomly turns off, or randomly reboots?

Its definately the power supply...
Go with an antec truepower (nowa days I'd recommend atleast 400W) Antec makes one of the best / reliable and quiet power supplys as of now.

If it's not the power supply itself, it could possibly be a power source problem. Maybe try using a UPS system.
Also check all cables and the motherboard mounting. Make sure nothing could short to the case.
