I think I remember they announced something like that, but only as plans for the future, in other words no details or guarantees have been given. I'm not sure how that would work, technically, I've never seen a good name filter implemented. I guess disallowing things like numbers, underscores, and offensive language could be enough, but I'm sure idiots would find a way around just about anything…
