About the aftermath of this election? Either way, one side is going to win and the other side is going to be upset. I'm especially concerned what will happen with the left if Bush wins. I mean even after 4 years there's still boat-loads of animosity from liberals and democrats about the Bush/Gore election and that happened awile ago. This election has been a frenzy since the democratic nominee elections and has only risen in drama since then. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw some small-scale riots and things of that nature. Anyone else seeing this unfold?
ps
In a joking way I bring to attention that this is how John Titor said things would happen. (scary?)
(If you don't know who John Titor is then google it yourself, im too lazy.)

Bush beats Kerry.
Democrats become totally insane.
Non far left Democrats leave party and make a new one never to be heard from again.
Ammendment passed to let non American born citizens run for President.
Arnold.
Arnold vs Hillary in 2008.
Arnold wins, liberal vs conservative war ensues. Liberals lose when their white flag body armor and constant b******g that they're dooing poorly destroy morale. Conservatives win without a single lost soldier.

Every streak eventually runs out... I bet more than a handful of those types of things were wrong when Clinton won reelection.

I can't say anything he said hasn't come true yet,(which is strange) but its still a little too ficticious for me to believe. If anything, it makes it sorta like a good novel to read.

Bush wins: large Demonstrations, especially in europe - because those are the people most affected by national elections on another continent.
Some left-wing extremists will take this opportunity to destroy property and cause damage and injuries. After they're stopped and arrested by the police, demonstrations for their freedom and against police repression are sure to follow..
fun fact: someone who attempted to blow up a high voltage power line, to sabotage a nuclear power plant, was arrested, escaped some time after in a prison break, shot and killed a police officer and was at large for many years. He was sentenced a year ago or so to some additional years to his already rather long sentence. (he won't get out anymore)
There were tens of thousands of people demonstrating for his freedom - because hey, it's not his fault he's a terrorist, and there's no proof it was really him killing that officer! It's all a conspiracy to keep the people down...
In the US, life will go on as normal - maybe some demonstrations, but a week later most people won't care anymore and go back to their normal lives. Not like they could name 5 people on Kerry's (or Bush's for that matter) team anyway. Simpson still airs, so who cares anyway.
Moore will announce a new movie, detailing some new conspiracy due to release in 3 years, showing how the republicans in general - and especially whoever is likely to be the next republican candidate - are pure evil and ought to be hated and voted out of any office they hold. He endorses Hillary, secretly hoping to get invited on a date with her - bad news though: not even getting her the presidency would get her to go out with him. But you can't blame him for trying.

John Kerry wins the overall popular vote by a large margin with several key electoral vote states being razor thin, recounts and legal manueverings leave the nation bitterly divided for the second time in as many Presidential elections.
Beyond that I don't want to make any other predictions.

The race is going to be disputed until mid next week then when a winner is chosen there will be legal battles for the next 8 months until things settle.
After that the focus will shift to a relentless attack on the presidents policy and nominations to the cabinet.
Ugly fights in the house, stalemate in the senate.
Then things will be ok for about a year an a half THEN the impeachment push will begin. The opposing side will pick a topic, any topic and drum up an impeachment proceeding about it that will brew for the next year and a half then the hearing then we are back to a re election year.
In the meantime there will be a movement to remove the electoral collage that will get a huge groundswell of attention then sit in congress for years until people forget about it. Then close to the election next year it will make it to the floor and get passed with a narrow margin. If Bush wins it will get vetoed, if Kerry wins it will pass.
I won’t speculate on any violent as an outcome because we are already in the midst of violence abroad and a psychological and ideological civil war. Don’t kid yourself this country is already at civil war, we are just a lot more civil than an other country in history.
God bless America.

Oh, I have another prediction, Massachuettes votes Kerry assumes its at a truce with Bin Laden, stops defending itself, Boston is the site of the next attempted terrorist attack.

First off, only people of a low IQ use the term "niggered". Go broaden your vocabulary sometime.
Secondly, my response was to your assanine reply which had nothing to do with what this topic is about. You wanna vote Kerry? heres a cookie kiddo(Assuming you're old enough to vote, because you sure don't act of the age). I don't care either way.
And last, I'm a moderate. Meaning I don't take a far left or far right position. I look at both candidates closely and then I decide who I believe would make a better leader overall. You, on the other hand are stuck so far up your nominee's ass that you've been reduced to posting short, one-lined support statements on every topic you can find. I'll let you in on a little secret here buckwad....No one gives a shit about what you have to say anymore.
Now go write another line of "I hate BUSH!!!1" on your wall with your crayon.

I will add one thing to this. 4 years after the electoral collage is abolished, the people hwo abolished it will be screaming that its not fair that 4 or 5 big cities controls the presidency.

It would remove the importance of states from elections, instead it would come down to the major cities which then results in most areas being ignored in campaigns, and you're left with the problem the electoral college was created to avoid.

Why? A popular vote wouldn't really be any different. If we had a strict popular vote who would have won the last election. NO ONE! Because no one single candidate had a clear majority. If you think a plurality system would work nationwide, you are on some seriously bad dope.
