Poll, sorta, how did you choose/get your RP/EQ name?

Mine originated from NWN on crappy AOL over 10 years ago. I was running around as DrTw1st and Quiet Ri0t before being recruited by MECH. Hence Mech Riots. About that time some lil midget named Abidabi and Abijabi started plaguing the boards of all the Sanctioned guilds. They (Dabi and Jabi) liked my "style" playing and posting so I got recruited as Abiyabi =)
Played my Abi for a year or two on NWN then it went kaput. Used it abit on Quake and The Realm and people always asked "whats an Abi". I started playing EQ after that and started a halfling rogue named Abiyabi. Back when sneak/hide didn't work for shit and rogues were all broke to hell. I asked Shroud what I should make and he said either a Druid or an Enchanter. My brother and I stopped sharing Yabi and he got his own acct and made Abigabi the druid and I made Abiwabi the Enchanter . Ta da and stuff.

Studying film in college, I learned that one of the first cinematic devices was called the Zoetrope... flash forward a few years and I'm sitting there staring at the blank "Name" column for my druid in EQ. *shrug*

I've always had the Mic prefix attached to me for some reason or another, add a dipthong in there to make it look cool, a "us" at the end, and it sounds like a very masculine name for a ranger.
Also, it's my name in Latin, but that's dorky

what better name could you choose for a Dwarf Warrior then Grummpy!
and Im pretty sure I acually had the name before the other Grumpy or however his name was spelled,
I made Grummpy sometime in 1999 got to lvl 10 or so then made my Druid malque after lvling to 50 on my Druid I decided I didnt like the Druid High end game so I went back to playing Grummpy I got to like lvl 30 and a lvl 40-something Grumpy sent me a /tell me saying I had to Delete Toon and change my name.
I replied "Ummm.... ok I get right on that, Camping now."
Grummpy stayed and the Other Grumpy left.

Hehe I had two GM's tell me to change the name of my Ogre warrior. In order to be an Abi he had to be short but I wanted an Ogre warrior so I combined all the Abi's first three letters of their names and the first three letters of their last name and thus was born Abiashi. IE Abiwabi Ashibadashibado etc etc. They said I was infringing upon Abashi's name and that I might try to pose my self off as him. The GM's then said that Abiwabi might be questionable too. I showed them documents (Screen caps and guild rosters ) dating back nearly a decade and said that if anything, Abashi was infringing upon the name of the Abi's. They dropped it and said nothing more of it.
My old roomate was named Jon. He was and still is a VERY good friend of mine. He is a computer programer/army ranger. He is a fat skin head, is allways dressed in army pants, army boots and a bomber jacket with the shaved head (sterotypical skinhead).

People ask me where I got my name all the f*****g time. They probably expect something cool like, "I GOT IT FROM THAT TANK IN TWISTED METAL!" or "THE REIGNING CHAMPION IN BATTLEBOTS IS A ROBOT NAMED MINION!" but unfortunately, it was not quite that interesting.

The name udyo was just a shortened version of some crap from the name generator. Almost all my alts have udyo in the name in some way shape or form,i always thought it was easier for people to identify me with it like that.
