Amazingly this topic isn't started as a flame, quite rare i'd have to say.
Ok basically here is the scenario that inspired this question:
I've been doing mad MM advs b/c slaying vampires is dope, and i get 340 pts in that theme, but i had points left over from other themes as well, i splurge on a lifetap aug for my weapon and thinking it would subtract the points from my Mistmoore theme count, but it didn't they remained the same, only the total number of points was decreased. So what would seem obvious but not to scew myself over on this would be to say that once obtained a certain amount of pts in a single theme you can spend points earned from another theme on that theme you've achieved such a rank with. At the higher level you've achieved hence, you can buy another 340 item in MM with a combined total number of points from other themes?

Correct. I had some trouble following your post but I think you have the idea.
You need X number of points to break the one time "barrier" in any (or all themes). Once the gear for your points has "opened up" you can use points gained in other themes to buy shit from it you no longer need to stay in that theme.
For instance I am saving up for an Anger III aug from Mira. Once I have the aug and I blow all 1150 points if I want to go back and buy the plate BP there I can go to Takish or Rujark and point w***e there.

You can spend your points anywhere you want, the only thing is you can only buy what youve unlocked in that theme
Lets say you earned 1500 points in Takish 400 in MM 300 in Rujarkan 500 in Miraguls and 600 in Guk
Youll have a total of 3300 points
You can take these points and spend them anywhere youd like, The only catch is you can only buy what youve unlocked so far. Since youve unlocked everything in Takish, you can buy 2 1500 Points items from there. And youll have 300 points left you can spend anywhere else cuz youve unlocked at least 300 points in the other themes.
Once youve completed 30 Normal 65 Adventures in each theme (or the hard equivelant) you basically have total freedom since you can buy anything
But lets say you only want 1500 point stuff from Guk. Just do your 30 adventures in Guk, you can then adventure where you choose for points to buy the remaining 1500 point items.
This was something brought up At Fanfaire, the devs admit to not explaining the system well, so expect a fix soon that explains the point system better
