How good is Playing Anarchy Online without expansions, just the basic game and story line? I mean is it worth anything? I was offered this kind of package for free and I am thinking if I should even bother with it if it is not any good. What would you do? Help me decide on this offer.

Playing Anarchy Online without expansions can be and is pretty rewarding, although it sounds like you are missing a vital part of the game. This is the way new players are making decisions if they will continue playing this game or not. Do you think that they would offer something that is some sort of repellant to potential new players? I don't think so. Playing Anarchy Online without expansions will give you a sense of what to expect if you decide to go with this game. This is how I decided to play this game and I am not sorry for this decision at all.
