Wanted to let you guys know about this troll I ran into last night named Thrakk. He's whiney, greedy, and overall a pain in the ass.
We were at the maze going to do Sandstone Giants, waiting on two others to get there and he's just whining over and over for some f*****g pants that drop off the giants. "I want dibs if they drop" shit like that. It was annoying but I ignroed it. Then on his way one of our mages got aggro and died inc whining "I have two bubs of xp debt now" WAHHHH, plus he was trying to dictate how my group was going to run and what we should have and that these people were too low. I ignored it, we started fighting, owned the mobs to no end. One other time someone died and that's because he walked over a ledge and right below him was a 17^^ lizard that he could not see that aggro'd on him. "I have two bubs of xp debt now" WAHHHH. Finished my giants and left.
While we were owning the giants though I just had to ask "Still have doubts about our ability Thrakk?"
Never again!

1 persons death in a 3 person group is like 1 kill of xp debt assuming you are killing things designed to be killed by a 3 man group.

I ran into some p****s with pickup groups, if you die once, you'll get kicked from the group.

XP debt is basically as far as I can tell where half of the xp you gain goes until it's paid off. A red line will appear on your xp bar and you'll see how much further you have til it's paid off.
For those two deaths each took me 2 kills to take care of. Nothing big at all

Same situation with this guy Thrakk in FG -- whinning about wanting quest items in FG and how "warriors are the uber class and they deserve all the loot" and he was going to get it cos he deserved it.
After a bit of this crap I told him: see how uber you are without a cleric ... and I disbanded :p
He and his friend Goraxx (or something like that). Couple of a******s.

Nah... aggro doesn't quite work as badly as in EQ, learning to manage it is different too so it may take some getting used to. I can get aggro whenever I want it really, all it takes is three spells and the mob/group of mobs is on me. Slow, weak, heal... BAM they on me like white on rice. Except brown rice, then it's like brown on that rice...

it gets worse at higher lvls, a group whipe is considerably bad since you not only have your own exp debt, but that of everyone else in the group to contend with. There's some issues with enchanter agro right now, breeze seems to draw agro in the way a bard song would in old eq, so if the puller doesn't use a group taunt adds go right for the ench. I could see this being something of a problem in idiiot groups, but so far I've yet to have an ench die on me. Idiot mages who chaincast and get agro and idiot rogues who don't use evade are another story, well actualy I don't think I've had one of them die on me either, maybe a mage did once but only because I'd run oop healing the fektard.
