Is it true that player characters are just crew on a ship in Pirates Of The Burning Sea? I read something about this in some article on the internet, and I intend to play this game in the future. I love pirates, and as I know, there is no other game like this one. However, if that is true about crews and player characters, than I am very doubting about playing this game. I need anybody to tell me everything about this.

I have read similar thing. In addition, to me, it sounds quite logical. Pirates of the Burning Sea will be very popular game, and as you know, pirates are always pictured together on a big ship. I think it will be the same in the upcoming game. You cannot roam the seven seas by yourself on some small boat. You need big sailboat, with many players on the ship. That way, there are going to be massive battles on the sea, between two, or even more ships. I think that ship crew, or players characters in Pirates of the Burning Sea are just like a guild in some other MMO games.
