i like planetside a lot ... of course, there's about 20 people i know IRL who are playing so i guess that might make it a lil more appealing

Yeah, I run with my outfit mainly and we all use voice chat and have a good time in the game. We've done some wacky shit, and we've also pulled off some pretty amazing stuff, like hacking into a base and holding it with 10 people while 100+ VS / NC try to take it from us.
Pickup groups are usually full of newbies that don't know what they're doing, as the best players are snatched up quickly by outfits that know good players when they see them.
If you want to have a good time in PS, definatly find a group of players you like to play with, and play with them constantly. It's like night and day in the difference of fun you'll have.
Btw if anyone wants to look me up, I'm on Johari / TR as cHaM. I'm usually the a*****e who tk's newbies who are screwing around and telling people to "MOVE THE f**k AWAY FROM THE DOOR GOD DAMNIT BEFORE I KILL YOU!"

Yeah, I get a few crashes, but only late at night. They say it's something with the database software they're using f*****g up when the servers are on all night or something.
