I said i'd never play another sony game after EQ, but well... ok i'll try it. Hay, it's free 
I've been beta testing EVE for past week also, that's sorta cool, needs more time though, think they will push it back again.

Me and Janoth play as Vanu Sovereignty. I've seen Iegan running around in game as a VS too.
PM me for char names, I'm not sure if it's apart of the user agreement to be posting this or not, so don't want to give out my handle ^^

It finally finished out with a grand total of 2.6 gigs. I'd think they'd send out disks or something, guess they didnt' want any dial-up testers. Didn't really have time to fully check it out yet, but looked like a lot of controls to learn.

The controls are easier than you think. At first I confused the hell out of myself trying to change them around and customize it all, b/c for starts the keymapping wasn't being saved correctly so half the keys I changed didn't work.
Q-auto run
Standard W/A/S/D movement/strafing
R-reload
Z-zoom
C-toggle crouch
ctrl-crouch
space-jump (jumpjets when using a Vanu MAX)
and so on

Beta is coming along pretty nice. There was just 1300 people playing, then I think the server crashed 
This game is going to be (already is) a hell of a lot of fun once it gets released.

Yes, this game does own  I'd play it all the time but since my PC sucks atm (not getting a new system till early May, when I signed up for beta I thought I was going to get it in early March), it crashes pretty regularly for me.
So when I do play I'll usually just go do my own thing instead of joining a squad like most people do, it's a pain in the ass getting kicked to desktop every 15-20 minutes :/

i've got a relatively top of the line system. Not the best you can get but pretty damn close.
It crashes about every 20 mins for me too.

I think it might just be doing that for you Sab b/c of the amount of people online. They just recently let a ton of people in beta for server stress tests and what not, so I'm not sure if we're crashing for the same reasons or not.../shrug
