My disc is missing, prolly over a friends house, i have PoP installed on another computer though. Is there any way i could use the files from there to initiate a patch of the rest? And if so how many would i need to do that?

Just hook up a network cable and drag the whole folder over... I dont think there is a poppatch.exe like there was for velious and kunark.

Everything else up to PoP was installed hate to use all that time, would moving zone files work?
