I have a few guy friends, and have even had some funny conversations about this. Sorry frost, but its often true, guys are weird. Girls can have friendships without thinking in that way at all, but guys (while they probably wouldnt admit it and would never act on it) cant. They'll even put you on their own little ladder rating thing level of women. The only way is if the guy thinks the girl is completely ugly i think. However, I'm sure there are exceptions, personally I havent met any of them though.
Moral of the story: Guys are perverts. Its just the way they are, and its not a bad thing in many cases. Some just control it more/dont show it.

I think you are all right.
It just depends on the person. As much as most guys dont like the word platonic. It exists and from my experiences its a good way to go. You need to establish ground work before something ****. UNLESS there is fatal attraction and **** is imminent .

I used to have 3 really good guy friends, my best friends you could say. One thing led to another one night and one of my friends confessed that all along he wanted to do me. Of course, I was shocked and awed and we go into a huge argument about how he was a faker friend pretending all along. He told me the other 2 were doing the same thing. I left in a huffy and asked my other friends about what he had said and it was true. Besides the witty banter and clever humor- they just wanted to get up in it.

He sleeps over once or twice a week, usually on weekends and has done so for years. More then once we came back drunk and never once has there been an attempt. I'm convinced I have a dirtier mind then he does at those moments. And a low cut shirt? The guy has seen me shower and I can't remember leaving the room to change/undress :-/ What can't believe not one guy has a female friend they don't want to f**k.

Yes you can have friends like this, but trust me when I say that the guy would prolly jump at the chance to be with you.
I myself have a friend exactly like this. I have know her for 15+ years and she is by far one of my best friends. I love her to death and would, if things worked out, date her, but I do not let that get in the way of our friendship. First and foremost she is one of my best friends.
I have also had a couple of female friends that we got drunk and f****d. It really didn't change things between us though. We didn't let it. We often joke about it.
It is all in how the two people handle the situation. Belive me though......he is prolly more attracted to you then you know, but has learned to deal with it and values your friendship enough that just having that is good enough for him.
Now that I have done the sappy thing.........
He is gay!!!!!

I've had a couple female friends that I was really close to. Yeah every once in a while I would think about what it might be like to to give them the deep dickin, but I would much rather keep my friendship the way it is. We kid around and get silly and flirty sometimes, but that's about it. We are just really close good friends.

Frost, unless you were hideous (which you aren't) he is either gay or wanted to bone you, but didn't because he was afraid of ruining the friendship. Either that or he's a complete p***y. If my female friends showered in front of me, I'd hop in with them and drill them into the shower door, well except for a few that I'm not even remotely physically attracted to. It's not because I have some secret yearning for them, but because hormones would take over. Maybe he's impotent? Also YJ, your friend is extremely attractive and looks like she'd be down to take it up the ass or has in the past.
Oh and as an example of my past, I had this friend freshman year of college and she was really cute. She used to change in front of me and I'd occasionally sleep over and I never once tried anything because 1. she was my friend and 2. she was a head case when it came to males, but now that we're not friends I wish I could go back in time and f**k her brains out because as it turns out she wanted me to (at least that's what she told me). You may need to let your friend read this.

I forgot to chime in on this thread. I would like to state that if your male heterosexual friends ever caught a glimpse of you naked, they beat off thinking about you at least once, if not multiple times. AND ... they wanted to f**k you. Maybe not "f**k your brains out" as you so eloquently put it, but they wanted to f**k you.
See it's not about being normal, which I'd be willing to be a good chunk of the regular posters here are, it's about being a male. Men want to f**k women. We are carnivorous.
