Hey guys. I wrote a Christmas RPG to the RPG world Phantom Universe. Sorry it is all written so please do not post more to this story. This is also a non-edited version, so if it is kinda cruddy, I'm sorry, I didn't re-read it when I wrote it. So, I hope you somewhat enjoy this Phantom Universe A Christmas Event
Akira waited silently by the drawbridge awaiting the arrival of the guests that will soon be joining them in the Christmas feast. Light snow sprinkled the skies and the evening moon shined down, making the kingdom look like a christmas card. Horses trotted by, their manes glowing in the moon.
The ground started to rumble, Akira armed herself as a great ogre came into view. "Chunky, you scared me." She grinned, "Merry Chirstmas big guy. Zap and the others are inside." She pointed to the great double doors leading into a small part of the castle. Chunky grunted his thanks and walked towards it. The air grew colder as wind began to blow.
As the last carrage approached the castle Akira assissted a man and his wife into the Feastive room. As they stepped inside, the nice smell of turkey, ham, and all sorts of foods, filled the air. The room was brightened with thousands of candles and torches. Important villagers sat at their own table at the left side of the room, laughing and having a great time. To the right; important Kingsmen were enjoying freshly baked bread. The very last table was the Kings' table, which sat directly in the center. King Windshell was center of the attention, he sat in the highest chair. His red robe brightening up his table. King Pseudonim sat at his left side, his face bore a slight frown. To King Windshells right, sad King Gibberish, his evil look upon his face made death himself seem like an angel.
Akira took her rightful place at a small table with Chunky and Zap. King Windshell tapped his glass and all was silent; all eyes upon him. His cheery face lightened the mood as everyone waited for his speech. He stood up and lifted his glass high infront of him and spoke in a cheery voice, "welcome everyone," his voice boomed through the hall, "I would like to thank all the kings of Phantom Universe for coming together and joining us in this celebration. This is a time for happiness, not wars upon each other. So let's enjoy this meal together and a toast to everyone. Merry Christmas and may the new year bring us a great life. Cheers!"
The crowd rumbled in joy. Glasses clinked and food began to be devoured. The towns jester happily sang and danced to keep everyone entertained. Over the hours of the night, people left, some for the long journeys home. Kings Windshell, Pseudonim and Gibberish chatted happily as servents refilled their goblets and cleaned up the mess from others. Gifts were left by the doors, as people on their way out placed them there as their blessings to the kings. Akira stood up and walked outside, to watch as people left, Zap escorted her.
They reached the gates and the snow seemed to come down harder. Snow began to get higher and roads began to be blocked. The snow seemed to pick up as Zap approached the draw bridge. "It's getting pretty bad out here," he said to Akira.
Akira looked after the carrages as some had troubles leaving, "yeah. It is. Let's go push some carrages out of the snow." Akira started to walk across the bridge but stopped when she noticed Zap wasn't following. She turned to face him. "Come on, let's go." The cold air was starting to make Akira shiver. The sound of Chunkys foot steps beat the ground as he walked out to wish Akira and Zap all the best. Snow began to come down harder, making it almost impossible to see the distance.
Akira aimlessly walked straight, hoping to run into Zap and Chunky. She was stopped by piles of snow in her way. What the heck? She pushed the snow in front of her but it wouldn't budge. "This is getting on my nerves," she mummbled. She kicked the snow but was sent flying backwards. The snow started to slow down and the view became clearer. The snow blocking her path wasn't a snow pile, it was a snowman. He was about as tall as Chunky and his face wasn't friendly. Where his stick arms should be was placed a fairly large sword in his right hand and a wooden sheild in the other.
He looked down at Akira and swung his massive sword at her. She moved just in time. "Zap! Chunky! A little help!" She yelled walking backwards, not taking her eyes off the snowman. Chunky charged behind it and swung his club, hitting the snowman in the middle section. The snowman roared in anger as he turned around. He swung at Chunky as Akira ran to Zap, who was not moving. Akira heard Chunkys grunt of pain and she knew he was hit. Akira reached Zap and gave him a push, "help us not Zap!" But he didn't budge. Snow began to once again fill the sky.
Chunky watched as Akira ran back into the building. He once again swung his club at the snowman but it collided with the sword and was ripped in half. Anger rising into Chunky, he began to punch the snowman. The snowman didn't budge, in fact, it seemed like it didn't know anything was hitting it. The snowman began to move forward towards the castle, building up snow as it moved. It grew larger with every stride. Akira came back out, followed by the kings. The Kings looked at the snowman in amazement, "what is going on here?!" Demanded King Pseudonim.
King Windshell walked closer, examining it. "Amazing." He said.
"No it isn't your Majesty!" Akira roared. She armed herself with her bow and arrow and shot at the creature. It hit him in the center of the head, but it still didn't react to the pain. Akira looked over at Zap. It was as if he was frozen. Deciding to ignore Zap, Akira shot at the snowman. It stopped and looked over at King Pseudonim and King Gibberish, it's attention focused on them.
"Akira. Light one of your arrows on fire." King Windshell suggested. Looking puzzled, Akira did what she was asked and shot the snowman in the middle snowball part. This time it reacted to the pain. His belly began to melt as it became more violant. The snowman moved closer to Akira, wanting to kill the source to the pain maker. He raised his sword and slashed. Akira was hit. She fell to the ground in pain. The sound of her muffled scream seemed to awaken Zap from his trance and ran towards her and crouched down. "A-Akira ..." He said, his voice shaken, "I'm sorry."
Zap stood up, fire began to burn in his eyes. "Now I'm mad." He yelled. His body began to give off a red glow, and at his command, it shot at the snowman, melting the snow in its path. The giant snowman was hit and his body melted into a giant puddle. Not settled by his victory, Zap marched over to King Pseudonim, "looks like your evil sceme didn't work Pseudo," he gritted his teeth.
King Pseudonim was infurriated, "you moron! You ruined everything!" He walked down the stairs, "you betrayed me." He snapped.
Zap looked at him, "you never told me my friends would get hurt. I thought you only wanted the Kings. If I would have known this would happen I never would have helped you."
King Windshell was taken aback by all this, "you mean to tell me, all of this was both of your doings? Guards, arrest them. Chunky, take Akira to the infermary." Chunky picked Akira up and walked into the building. Five armed guards came out and surrounded Zap and King Pseudonim. "Tell me, Pseudonim, why did you do this?" King Windshell asked polietly.
"Why should all your kingdom have all the glory while mine suffers?! I needed someone with enough power to help me take over this Kingdom and to eliminate the compition but your damn warriors got in the way." King Pseudonim raged,
"Enough of this. Guards, be off with him." King Windshell waved his hand and the guards carried him into the castle. "And for you Zap. We wouldn't have stopped it if it was not for you. Thank you. But helping him was also wrong. So you win some you lose some. Now let's go and enjoy the rest of the night with a nice cup of ale." He placed his arm around Zaps neck and he, Zap and King Gibberish walked into the castle.
