i am now running at 5.7 kbps and a download ETA at 17 hours 57 minutes on high speed dsl that runs normally even from fileplanet at 400 kbps wtf sega needs some bandwidth!

I don't know wtf is going on, but I can't type in my ID on the screen, can navigate the menu fine, but when I try to type it in, nothing happens.

how long it take you to download i started at 1 pm this afternoon its 11 now and im still downloading with 17 hours to go this is b******t

I had this same problem. Theres a simple fix.
Start > Settings > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Languages Tab > uncheck everything in the supplemental language support > apply and reboot

How about you go get it from Fileplanet then? The fix has nothing to do with downloading the client.

I got a server maintenance message trying to connect a bit ago. Then the next time I tried, it didn't give any message, just sat there for 10 minutes before I closed it. =\
