I had previously posted about a person I dislike and how they had to email people with the name of the hotel they ere at or the restaurant the just had dinner at etc.
Today I got my petty satisfaction not so much revenge. I finally gave in & ordered a Blackberry (never really needed one with a laptop & I don't want to get emails 24/7). In our system we have to pay w/ corporate card from a list of vendors. Everyone seems to pick Cingular. I picked Verizon because that is who I use as my cell phone carrier. Well Cingular only has B&W ones. Verizon has color ones.
We were at a meeting & of course everyone puts their BB on the table. I sit next to this person & put my BB out next to his. He checks it out & makes a comment about how I gave in. Then he sees its color & you can see it in his face! Then I knew I had him. I told him that since it was a vital business tool I coun't just have a cheap BB I had to have a top of the line one.
He hasn't said anything to me since. The only problem is that I have now entered a danbgerous one-up game but damn the look on his face was worth it.
