DoD runs on the Steam engine, the same shit that runs Counterstrike. Its quite good, and very authentic movement...and also works well so even experienced players who can nail you 99 out of 100 times in close combat with a sniper rifle in Counterstrike can lose 50% of the time in a fair fightfight, and ambushes work quite well as well thanks to some camouflage...
Last time I was on a Jolt server I found a little bit of bush I lay down in and laid sniper fire down with...and the enemy never figured out where I was...
Its worth a go.
