That seems to be Jack's speciality.

They are a bunch of musicians, most of whom have not even been educated beyond the high school level. Who cares what they think about politics?
All they do by getting involved is risk alienating some of their fans.

He sucks too he's not even a good f*****g song writer or musician.
So is Kerry gonna let Moore and Neil Young talk at the DNC? mabye he can just go ahead and launch the nukes on us after that before the Terrorists do if he gets elected.
as far as the boss and Pearl Jam supporting Kerry is this any big suprise?

Neil Young and Eddie Vedder (Who used to own) are too whacked out on drugs and alchohol to form intelligent arguments and find themselves lapsing into pseudo-socialistic rhetoric when asked to speak about politics.

Do you live with them?
Anyways, I don't see why you people sneer when celebrities are outspoken on politics when normal people are the same way. Uncle Ray slamming his fist on the picnic table and ranting about Kerry at the family BBQ is the same thing as Vedder slamming his fist on the podium and ranting about Bush, except that Uncle Ray doesn't have a microphone. Everyone is entitled to their opinion as long as it doesn't conflict with yours, right?

Remember who listens to the music..sheep.
It's sad that kids are able to vote at 18, but they're just totally clueless as to the world around them, so they see that SoAndSoThePopularMusician is voting for YaddaYadda, that's the way they vote.

Actually celebrities spout off because they feel it brings attention to their 'cause'. The problem is morons who cannot think for themselves think "WOW EDDIE VEDDER THINKS JOHN KERRY IS KEWL SO NOW I DO TOOOOOOOOOO!". Welcome to planet MTV, check your brain at the door.

That's why I don't exercise my right to vote. I don't really follow politics, I don't give too much of a shit, so leave the voting to those in the know.
